Job Description:

An experienced IT Operations Manager is required to oversee the configuration, maintenance, and security of servers, network infrastructure, data centers, and email systems. The ideal candidate will manage Active Directory, VPNs, firewall systems, both Windows and Linux environments, and Exchange servers, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability.

Key Responsibilities

1. Server Management:

  • Configure, manage, and maintain Windows servers (Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, ADC) and Linux servers (e.g., CentOS, Ubuntu, Red Hat).
  • Active Directory management, Group Policy implementation.
  • Oversee the administration of email servers and console management.
  • Perform regular updates, patches, and security configurations to maintain server integrity.
2. Exchange Management:
  • Manage and maintain Microsoft Exchange servers, ensuring reliable email delivery, performance optimization, and security.
  • Oversee the configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of Exchange environments.
  • Implement policies and procedures for mailbox management, email retention, and backup.
3. Network and Firewall Administration:
  • Configure and maintain firewall systems (e.g., FortiGate, Barracuda) to secure the organization's network infrastructure.
  • Implement and monitor security rules to safeguard against unauthorized access and threats.
4. VPN Configuration and Management:
  • Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot VPN connections, including Site-to-Site VPNs, ensuring secure communication between remote sites and partners.
  • For data security, network security, and backup solutions.
5. Virtualization Management:
  • Configure and maintain virtual machines using VMware vSphere and Hyper-V.
  • Oversee the migration, backup, and restoration of virtual machines.
6. Backup and Recovery:
  • Develop and implement backup strategies using tools like NAKIVO, Veeam, and Robocopy.
  • Regularly test backup and recovery processes to ensure data integrity and availability.
7. Network Performance and Troubleshooting:
  • Monitor network performance and conduct regular analysis to optimize performance.
  • Troubleshoot network issues and provide resolutions to minimize downtime.
8. Security and Compliance:
  • Apply security best practices to protect IT infrastructure from cyber threats.
  • Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
9. Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain detailed documentation of IT processes, configurations, and incidents.
  • Provide regular reports on system, network, and email performance.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as VMware vSphere, MCSA, Fortinet NSE, or similar.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in IT operations, network, server, and email management.
  • Proficiency in managing Windows and Linux servers, Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory management, Group Policy implementation and virtualization platforms, and firewall systems.
  • Microsoft Office 2003/ 2007/2010/2013/2016/2021/365.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, VPN technologies, and Microsoft Exchange & AD, operations.
  • Installation & Upgradation of Window Server 2003/2008/2012/2016/2019.

  • Open-Source NMS administration
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Manage & Troubleshooting Local Area Network and Wide Area Network.
  • Diagnose and Rectify hardware/software/network issues reported in helpdesk system.
  • Data Backups from Server, over all Server Management.
  • Exchange Server & MDaemon.
